Port Pipavav leverages a diverse team of professionals to ensure safe and efficient maritime operations. Senior pilots have more than ten years of experience at the port, and not a single marine accident has occurred at the Port Pipavav since its inception.

Port Pipavav deploys four vessels to assist with port operations:

• One Launch - ML Ambaji
• Three tugboats:
• - Rishabh (Bollard Pull 35)
• - Malini (Bollard Pull 50)
• - Ocean Supreme (Bollard Pull 60)

Port Pipavav’s control room is a central location designed to monitor and relay information regarding port operations, vessel movements and marine safety and security. The facility is manned 24/7, and is equipped with the following:

• AIS (Automatic Information System)
