• This is a Senior Position reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, and requires a seasoned professional of the highest caliber with the appropriate experience and education.
• The ideal candidate will most likely have a back ground in Ports / Terminals. Candidates at senior level in shipping / shipping agencies who match the profile can also be considered.
• Excellent Interpersonal & problem solving skill and fluency in English.
• Must have excellent skills in standard Windows applications and mail clients such as Outlook or Outlook Express.
• The position is open to candidates from all nationalities.
  

Job Profile :
The position shall be responsible for all container & general cargo operations in the port including :

• Customer & Quality Focused

  Exhibit high degree of planning, organizing & directing work. Analysing data including the ability to extract & analyse data.
  Achieve average gross moves per quay crane as per terminal KPI to meet the berth production targets as established in the terminal / shipping line contracts.
  Achieve average truck, rail & vessel turn-round time as per terminal KPI.

  Demonstrates cost consciousness in all areas of work; strive to improve terminal’s cost. Able to work within constraints of budget.
  Fully accountable & responsible for meeting & exceeding all targets set by Chief Operating Officer.
  Develop & improve port productivity & efficiency.

  Provides & create process driven Organization, which supports continual process improvement though the optimal design of work flows, organisational structure & technology.
• Drive / Energy
  Generates high volumes of relevant work; able to sustain high level of activity & energy over long hours when necessary. Work with a business like approach to daily challenges.
