• The candidate should have appropriate qualification & experience in similar shipping / Port / Terminals. Preference shall be given to Graduates.
• Requires good interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Must be PC savvy with above average skills in standard Windows applications and mail clients such as Outlook.
  

Job Profile :
The position shall be Responsible for container vessel operations and their documentation on 24 x 7 basis:-

• Ensure all equipments necessary to work vessel is ready prior to beginning of Cargo operation.

• Ensure the Yard operations are executed in accordance with the instruction received from Shift Manager and as per plan received from planning department.

• Supervise the gangs for the vessel load & discharge operations according to plan.

• Ensure the discharge load and lashing process as well as the workforce is efficiently organised in order to achieve highest possible crane productivity.

• Immediately react to change in the operation, so that the labours do not standby for instruction.

• Ensure smooth & speedy movement of containers to/from rail siding.

• Ensure inventory at CY is verified and correct at regular intervals (at least once a week).
  Ownership & responsibility to ensure to ensure that plan(s) is/are accomplished with 100% accuracy & efficiency.

• Any other operational or administrative activities as assigned by the reporting officer.
