• The candidate should have appropriate qualification & experience in similar shipping operations and shall have a background Port / Terminals. Preference shall be given to Graduates.
• Knowledge of basic English.
• Must have good skills in standard Windows applications and mail clients such as Outlook or Outlook Express.
  

Job Profile :
The position shall be responsible for the following :

• Bulk Vessel Operation, documentation & claim prevention.
• Ensure the jetty is cleaned/washed and approved by the surveyors prior berthing of the vessel for agri-cargo, soda ash and other clean cargo.
• Ensure that tally of the cargo is being taken, feed rate is maintained, hooks are not idling, and sufficient labourers/ vehicles/ loaders are in place.
• To ensure all breakdowns are documented.
• Maintain necessary records and conduct periodical sampling to ascertain loss of cargo due to weather.
• Stevedoring gear procurement, inventory and maintenance. Warehouse and stack-yard management.
• Ensure all dispatches and receipts are well documented.
• Care and quantity of cargo stocked in yard/warehouse and ensure no pilferage of cargo.
• Assist Rail Siding Coordinator for Bulk rake operations when directed by the Reporting Officer.
• Assist the reporting officer in preparation of all MIS reporting.
