• The candidate should have appropriate qualification & experience in similar shipping operations and shall have a background Port / Terminals. Candidates from companies handling Bulk materials like Coal/ Fertilisers/Cement etc. can also be considered. Preference shall be given to Graduates.

• Requires good interpersonal, problem solving skills and good communication skill in English.

• Must be PC savvy with above average skills in standard Windows applications and mail clients such as Outlook.

Job Profile :
The position shall be responsible for the following :

• Bulk Planning, Operations, documentation & claim prevention.
  Managing the Bulk Operations team, Tally Clerks, Crane Operators and labours involved in stevedoring operations
• Sound knowledge of Bulk vessel operations, project cargo handling, Draught Survey & Warehouse management
• Maintain necessary records and conduct periodical inspections to ascertain cargo is not affected due to weather while in our custody. Reports problems and issues to his superior as needed, especially issues of complexity or great impact on the operation.
• Ensure the warehouses / open yard is utilised to its maximum occupancy.
• Ensure that tally of the cargo is being taken, discharge/feed rate is maintained, hooks are not idling, and sufficient labourers, vehicles etc are in place. Ensures that the load and discharge tally is taken accurately and timely.
• Assist RO/HOD in Productivity calculations, equipment planning and deployment, manpower management/mobilization, rate negotiation with subcontractors for various activities
